LINET Group acquires French company Domalys
18. 11. 2024
LINET Group is thus continuing its steady growth, both organically and through acquisitions, which it is actively seeking. “The opportunity to acquire Domalys came up relatively recently and I am very pleased that our acquisition team has done a great job. I am confident that their products will suitably augment our offering. They undoubtedly have great potential to succeed on the global market,” says Tomas Kolar, CEO of LINET Group.
Domalys will also complement LINET Group's expertise in the IoT. Its flagship product is the Aladin smart lamp, which can identify risky behaviour using cameras, alerting staff and turning on the room's lighting at the same time. Aladin is a solution that, among other things, won an award in the smart home category at the prestigious CES in Las Vegas in 2019.
“We invest in innovations that significantly improve the comfort and safety of patients and clients. Aladdin in particular is another example of how technology is helping to protect health and lives. It fits perfectly with our Safesense solution,” adds Tomas Kolar.
Domalys was founded by Arnaud Brillaud in 2013. From day one, the company's DNA has been based on collaboration with healthcare professionals. It invents and markets innovative fall prevention solutions and ergonomic furniture. Its flagship high-tech solution, Aladin, which prevents and detects falls, has been deployed in more than 6,000 nursing homes and university hospitals in France. Domalys now has 20 employees. Its turnover reached €3.9 million in 2023. Read more: www.domalys.com
