LINET Group will introduce Platform Based Lateral Tilt guided by Electric Impedance Tomography
4. 2. 2020
“The effect of automatic lateral therapy on the Multicare bed is to promote desired changes in ventilation distribution. With EIT, we now have continuous, real-time ventilation imaging to adapt lateral rotation to the patient's current condition and needs,“ explains Martin Ričl, Global Clinical Research Manager for LINET Group. Martin Ričl is working on the research and development of this project with an international team that includes experts from the Charles University in Prague, General University Prague, Regional Centre of Neuro-intensive Care Liberec and INCOR institution from Sao Paulo, Brazil. The LINET Group stand will also offer another program focusing on the other benefits of the Multicare bed and their use in practice.
The ESICM LIVES Physiology 2020 Congress is intended for practicing intensive care clinicians, such as physicians and nurses, and offers participants frontal lectures, real-case-based participative meetings in small groups and interactive learning with simulations. The event was included for the first time in the calendar of professional events organized by ESICM – European Society of Intensive Care Medicine and is held with the support of the Czech Society of Intensive Care Medicine (CSIM).
